SESSION RECAP:

After two days of relaxing with the locals of Hardby, the party travels to Scant. Travelling via ship took one month and nothing special happened in the way, with the exception of the majestic (and terrifying) view of a silver dragon fly a few feet away from the ship, ignoring it, like a man might ignore a petty cockroach.

On Readying 11, the group arrives at Scant. After trying to find some usefull rumours, they meet a man named Lorath who reveals that he belongs to the Scarlet Brotherhood and he gives a huge amount of money to any group that brings him a certain book from an ancient temple in the Headlands. The party accepts and after a few days it begins its expedition towards that temple.

After a day and a half, they reach the temple. The search the first rooms of it and find a chamber full of tombs. In there they are attacked by a group of fungus infested mummies. They manage to overpower them but are very injured. They loot many valuables from the tombs and retreat back to Scant.

Once they are back, they might not completed the quest of Lorath to take his reward, however they managed to get back enough loot for them to start training to become stronger!

THOUGHTS AFTER THE SESSION:

In this session, I used a module that exists in Carcass Crawler, the OSE magazine. It was about a snake-centered temple and because I had some other modules that I wanted to assign to that area (like the Tomb of the Serpent King), in my headcanon, a few centuries ago the Headlands were the center of a yuan-ti empire.

The strange thing about many OSE modules is that they are always fungus-like. Anything must be full of mushrooms for some reason. The mummies there where a toned down version of the real deal, that were used as hosts by the mushrooms and therefore weren't as strong as they should be.

Anyway, the interaction with the Scarlet Brotherhood just began! This can be a very good partnership!!!

I didn't know any of the guys involved in person besides Nico, I hadn't been in Germany before so we were really...

Session 58: Prizefighters

PCs: sir Korin Clubfoot, dwarf, F6 Dame Mia the ogre, F5 sir Norbor the half-orc, F5 PARTY'S HENCHMEN: - SESSION RECAP:     After the showdown with the ancient dragon the party survived but they had lost everything! Their henchmen were dead or gone, their magic items were given to the dragon and Mia has turned into an ogre! Most of the blame was to be put on Darwin who in order to save his life, gave everything up to the red dragon. That's why Norbor tried to find out where he was, once he was back on his feet.      Unfortunately for him, Darwin had completed his training and disappeared. Even worse, the party has spent most of its remaining money to raise back Norbor from the dead and reincarnate Mia. As a result, they took advantage of Mia's monstrous appearance and arranged wrestling matches on Verbobonc, trying to make money from the bets.     Many brave fighters rose up to the challenge and fought the ogre bare handed. Of course noone was a...
