Session 37: Chainmail

The distance is about 90 miles so they will need 4 to 5 days to reach it. The way the party travelled The last day of their journey there was a heavy rain slowing them down. However it was proven to be a blessing in disguise because the rangers that were scouting ahead on their horses spotted a group of 30 men heading north. Quickly the party and the whole battalion covered in the trees of a small forest nearby and when the small band of men appeared they saw that they were all armed and lightly armored. Session 36: An Unexpected Turn Of Events

They try to scout around the walls that incircle it and see if there is another potential entrance besides the main gates. They easily spot a tower in the northeastern corner. On top of it are some small ravens and since it appears otherwise empty, they decide to try and climb on it.     They throw their ropes with hooks and as soon as they manage to hook them safely on top of the tower, they begin to ascend. Unfortunately, when they do that, the raven take flight and when they get out of the top of the tower to descend upon the party, it's revealed that they are giant ravens, at least 10 of them. Since the party decided to go to the Temple of Elemental Evil and knowing that it is a very dangerous place, they decide to hire 9 men-at-arms to accompany them in their travels and guard their camp as well as some extra henchmen, who wanted to explore dungeons for their own reasons.     The party realises that Korin's reputation has grown since the last time they visited Verbobonc. He is now known as "The Dragonhunter" because not only he survived the encounter with the dragons but also was part of the group that searched the area for its lair! Session 34: Lycanthrapocalypse

The arch cleric can perform raise dead on Korin for the regular price of the spell and Korin comes back to life! The party celebrates his return to the world of the living. Norbor and Mia begin their training to become even better while Korin rests, trying to pull himself back together.     After 3 weeks, on Wealsun 8 the party has completed its training, Korin was back in action and the party decided not go after the pirate's treasure after all. Since they have grown stronger, they decide that it's time to explore the Temple of Elemental Evil. Through the wizard that Mia trained under, they secure passage via ship to Dyvers. Session 33: Sudden Death

They met a group of goblins that they managed to kill and interrogated them. They revealed that they were working for a terrifying wizard and they forced them to lure him to a trap. The party ambushed him and managed to kill him. After that they looted everything they could get their hands on, including many potions.     Now that they mapped the majority of the dungeon and took a great amount of loot, they are returning to Scant. However, when they were sleeping in their tent they were attacked by giant centipedes. While they managed to overpower them, one of them hit Korin and its venomous sting killed him instantly!     The party abandoned the cart to move faster and returned to the city. Session 32: Back To The Tomb

However they now know that there is a group of bandits between Scant and the hills and this time they will be ready for them. They prepare a plan to face them. They will have a cart full of flour and when they will be attacked they will feign retreat abandoning the cart to them. As soon as some of the bandits would approach they would activate an air blower  using the wand that turns flesh to stone to cause a piece of meat that would hang above to fall down on it and after throwing a torch they make it explode and counter attack.     So, they took their henchmen and their cart full of flour and headed towards the Tomb. Session 31: Tomb Of The Serpent Kings

They are interested to know what is the party relationship with the Scarlet Brotherhood, since they were seen cooperating with their men. She makes sure to have everyone know that like any adventuring party, they don't want to close doors and are willing to work with anyone who pays them money. The thieves guild however warns them that the Scarlet Brotherhood has a bad reputation.     Despite that, the guild wants to hire the party and have it explore a dungeon that they have found out about on the Headlands. The group agrees and also takes along two thieves from the guild as reinforcements. Besides that, they employ again their remaining henchman and also take with them Xenop, a cleric of Xerbo who is willing to become an adventurer.     The group travels to the

Session 30: A Problem With Many Faces

They take many henchmen with them, a cleric among them and they reach the temple on Coldeven 17. They search a few more rooms and soon enough they find themselves fighting an evil cleric and a strong hydra statue of 5 heads. The monster was extremely strong and wiped out almost all of the henchmen. Korin, Mia and Norbor barely managed to withdraw with one more henchman and retreated back to Scant.     They inform Lorath about the strong enemies that they faced and he offers them some henchmen of his own to assist the party. So after a few weeks of healing, the party with the Scarlet Brotherhood men head back to the temple. They quickly kill the cleric and manage to retrieve the book that they were looking. However the hydra statue was proven once more an unbeatable opponent.

Session 29: Scarlet Scant

Travelling via ship took one month and nothing special happened in the way, with the exception of the majestic (and terrifying) view of a silver dragon fly a few feet away from the ship, ignoring it, like a man might ignore a petty cockroach.     On Readying 11, the group arrives at Scant. After trying to find some usefull rumours, they meet a man named Lorath who reveals that he belongs to the Scarlet Brotherhood and he gives a huge amount of money to any group that brings him a certain book from an ancient temple in the Headlands. The party accepts and after a few days it begins its expedition towards that temple.     After a day and a half, they reach the temple. Session 28: The Captain's Wrath

Thinking that the pirates who ran away perhaps found a way in the chaos of battle to do it, push me to send men after them. Indeed, a group of men follows their trail and they manage to catch up to them. They kill some and bring a few of them alive to be interrogated.      After the interrogations, the captain realises that they haven't steal his valuables. He orders to search everyone's tent and they find the items in Corax's tent. He and 3 other assasins that were sharing the tent with him were arrested. Corax in a private talk with the captain reveals that he did it and offers to stay at his service as an assasin as payment. The captain refuses, however he reaasures him and the other 3 assasins that since they fought for the city of Dyvers they won't be executed.     Despite the

Session 27: Assault On The Pirate's Cave

They give 500gp to every party member for the information and promise another 500gp if they accompany the navy in its attack. They are valuable because they are the only ones that know the area. The party spends 10 days on the city of Dyvers to heal. After that they march against the pirate cave.     They decide to split their force to two parts. One will attack with their ships through the cave when the pirates will be inside and the other one will attack from the land, entering through the tower to sandwich the pirates and not let anyone escape. Corax will join the naval forces and the rest of the party will be part of the ground forces.     The ground forces met a tribe of halflings in the hills where the tower is. Session 26: Honour Among Thieves

He reveals that the pirates that hit merchant ships are hiding inside the cave of this dungeon and that right now the vast majority of them is absent, doing some pirating. As a result, they have left some loot behind that could be easy target, guarded only by a few pirates that have been left behind.      The four pirates that they were persuaded by the party to change sides, the wizard with his hands tied and the rest of the group head to meet the pirates in their cave. In there the wizard screams to alert them and tries to escape but is assasinated by Corax. In the fight that broke out the party easily defeated their opponents and got the loot. They gave the 4 pirates that cooperated their share and let them go away.     Then, the group started the small journey back to Dyve

Session 25: Exploring The Tower Of Zenopus

Also, Mia and Tranaccatlo meet and elf named Corax, who is willing to join them in their adventures. All of them together agree to travel to the Tower of Zenopus and continue their research on the pirates.     After three days of travel they reach the Tower without any problems. They manage to defeat a group of goblins by outsmarting them and utilising Corax' talent in mimicry. Once they have captured some of them, they interrogated them and learned that they have an alliance with a wizard who lives in the tower. They force them to lure the wizard out. He quickly realises that it's a trap and sends some pirates against the party. However the party persuades the pirates to change sides and quickly they doublecross him. With their help they manage to capture to the wizard and put him to sleep. When he

Session 24: The City Of Dyvers

  PCs: Mia the elf, T1/MU1 Trenaccatlo, F1 SESSION REPORT:     After the dangerous adventuring on Lortmill mts, Mia finds a fighter named Trenaccatlo and some other men for hire and decide to follow some rumors all the way to Dyvers and see what is going on with the pirate problems that the city is facing.     After two weeks of traveling by the river, the party reaches the city of Dyvers. Unfortunatetly, their ship on its way there, will be attacked by pirates. The captain, realising they don't stand a chance against them, agrees to surrender and the pirates take every coin and valuable the crew and the passengers have.     So, on Patchwall 23 the party is penniless and they start working to make some money. After 3 days of work at the port, they make a few coins to buy some equipment and they also learn about the Tower of Zenopus, an old mage tower that is now abandoned and where some sailors believe that the pirates could have their lair.     The group works for a week at a loca

However, Verbobonc was really worried as the flight of the dragons left behind burned forests, destroyed roads and dead people, which is bad for a city that wants to remain a part of an important merchant route. For that, they offer a handsome reward for parties brave enough to map the Lortmill mts where the dragons possibly have their lair, according to the route they followed.     Once Korin got back together, he hired criers and found many adventurers willing to join him in such an expedition, among them Yus the cleric and Mia the elf. Together they travel to the Lortmill mts where they encounter a settlement of human barbarians who inform them of the recent arrival of orcs, who however haven't been very aggresive.
