PCs:
Korin Clubfoot, dwarf, F4
Mia the elf, T1/MU1
Yus the cleric, C1
SESSION REPORT:
After the attack of the dragons, Korin spent more than a month drinking his nightmares away. However, Verbobonc was really worried as the flight of the dragons left behind burned forests, destroyed roads and dead people, which is bad for a city that wants to remain a part of an important merchant route. For that, they offer a handsome reward for parties brave enough to map the Lortmill mts where the dragons possibly have their lair, according to the route they followed.
Once Korin got back together, he hired criers and found many adventurers willing to join him in such an expedition, among them Yus the cleric and Mia the elf. Together they travel to the Lortmill mts where they encounter a settlement of human barbarians who inform them of the recent arrival of orcs, who however haven't been very aggresive. Some of the barbarians joined the group to check the area together for more potential changes.
Unfortunately, in the mountains they will meet two purple worms that attacked them. All of the barbarians will perish and the party will escape, with the exception of Yus who got stung by one of them and immediately died from its deadly poison.
So, the group came back, informed the authorities of the results of their research and got a handsome reward!

THOUGHTS AFTER THE SESSION:
In this session we had the debut of another player who will be one of the main ones in the sessions to come. Unfortunately he had a bad start, with his character dying in his first session. He didn't have any problem however and he was more than ready to come back for more!
The list of the fallen characters continues to expand and how it could not, with such crazy random encounters? Really, the wilderness encounters are by far the most dangerous part of Greyhawk!
It's worth noting that from this session on, I am not only using the OSRIC random encounter tables but also the Greyhawk ones. Generally, the Greyhawk books are amazing, it's great way to learn how to handle your milieu. It has notes, tables and rules about how to travel in every different terrain, different random encounter tables according to the area you are in, information about every kingdom and so much more. Also it has cool tables about the temperature in every month, the possibility to have weird climate phenomena etc. It's a great tool!
I also love how the dragon attack was liked by the players, it is one of the most remembered moments of the campaign until now! I took the opportunity to have Verbobonc put it a number one priority to find it's lair, I think it's a move that makes sense, noone wants a dragon close to them without knowing where he is, not mentioning 4 of them.
However now the party is being put back together and they are ready for more adventuring! Let's see where their courage will get them!
