SESSION REPORT:
It's Flocktime 1st, and since the party realised that they have to destroy skeletons to explore the rest of the Temple, they decide to recruit some cleric. Since there are no more clerics on Orlane, they decide to visit the nearby town of Hochoch.
They travel there and they sell the chainmail that they have obtained from the clerics. They also meet and recruit a cleric of Merikka named Adam. He provides some healing and is willing to help them cleanse the temple of his goddess.
They return with him back to Orlance where they interrogate their prisoners. Most of them are fanatic cultists and are not willing to share information, except for the goblins. They claim that they were forced into servitude by the troglodytes of the cult and are willing to cooperate if they will be allowed to live. The party agrees and they reveal that the headquarters of the cult were the serpent that runs it lives, are far away from here but they have never visited them. After that they allow them to leave. The rest of the prisoners remain chained.
With Adam alongside the party, they easily destroy the skeletons and search the rest of the Temple. There, they find a little girl named Cirilli. She was dragged with her family in front of the serpent, her parents were charmed but she resisted. Because of that she was a prisoner and Ambramo has brought here, to have her under his watch. She claims that she remembers some of the road towards the headquarters of the cult. They will also find a huge statue of the serpent with the face of a woman and they will drag it out to sell it in a good price.
So, they decide to travel back to Hochoch, sell the statue and use the money to allow Korin to train and get another level of experience as a fighter. On Flocktime 5, they are back at Hochoch and their plan goes smoothly. The two elves stayed behind with the mayor. They spent a month there and at Wealsun 8 they begin their journey back on Orlane.
However, in the road they are ambushed by cultists and they barely manage to escape, thanks to the agility of their horses. Unfortunately, cultists also attacked the mayor's house, and despite the fact that they managed to push them back, one of the two elves and the mayor's bodyguard died in the fight.

THOUGHTS AFTER THE SESSION:
In this session, we saw how important clerics are. Not only they provide healing but they are also able to destroy undeads. With Adam as a henchman, the party easily defeated the skeletons and cleared the rest of the dungeon.
The ambush of the cultists was also nice. I was waiting for them to be seperated and wanted to strike both parts of the good guys, the mayor's team and the player's party at the same time. The party won initiative, avoided some attempts of the bad guys to hold them magically and escaped. I rolled a few dices for the outcome of the other battle, the mayor and the elves were stronger and had the advantage that they were defending, while the cultists were mainly villagers but there were a lot of them. They won but lost two important members.
Now the party knows that the enemy awaits and soon enough they will have to decide what they will do with the prisoners when they decide to travel to the cult's headquarters. Interesting...
