Session 19: The Naga's Shadow

  PCs: Causticas the elf, F2/MU2 Korin Clubfoot, dwarf, F3 SESSION REPORT:     After the party spends the night resting at the mayor's house, at dawn they are visited by a few villagers. They inform them that many families have been attacked during the night by other villagers and that they managed to defeat the intruders and even capture one. Their prisoner reveals that he is part of the cult, quite proudly, and he refuses to give any other information. With that done, the party decided to head to the cult's dungeon one last time and defeat its terrible leader.     Again, the first floor didn't have much to offer and in the second they found resistance by some weak villagers. Session 18: Brain Drain

  PCs: Causticas the elf, F2/MU2 Korin Clubfoot, dwarf, F4 SESSION REPORT:     On Wealsun 11, the party decided to travel to Hochoch to recruit a thief to help them get through lock doors or find hidden ones. Besides that, they also employ some met-at-arms to guard the mayor's house for the time they will be gone.     They returned the next day and they immediately headed towards the cult's dungeon. In the 1st floor they didn't meet any resistance. However in the 2nd one, the cultists were ready to fight them. Even worse, among them there was a cleric and a wight. While the party prevailed, the terrible undead managed to drain a level from Korin and from the elven companion of the mayor, Dorian.      Once they have destroyed their opponents, they released some prisoners and they searched the room where the cultists ambushed them. Session 17: Following The Trails

PCs: Causticas the elf, F2/MU2 Korin Clubfoot, dwarf, F4 SESSION REPORT:     On Wealsun 10, the party, not wanting to waste precious time, headed back to the dungeon. Inside they found resistance by troglodytes. They managed to defeat them all except one that escaped. However this proven to come in handy for the party.     Up until now, the party has explored all the 1st floor of the dungeon without being able to find a passage to a second level. However they knew that the serpent that runs the cult must be here somewhere. So they followed the muddy trails of the troglodyte that led to a small lake. Inside it they defeated some aligators and be searching the perimeter they found a secret door.     They explored the rest of the floor, defeating snakes and beavers and once they have discovered stairs that lead to a lower level, they decided to retreat back to Orlane to tend to the party members' wounds. Session 16: Tough Choices

  PCs: Causticas the elf, F2/MU2 Korin Clubfoot, dwarf, F4 SESSION REPORT:     On Wealsun 9th, the party decides to utilise Cirilli's knowledge and search the swamp for the cult's base. However, there is a problem. Most of the party's hirelings, one elf and the mayor's bodyguard are dead. They don't have many men to leave behind to guard the prisoners, they know for sure that there are more cultists among the villagers and that the prisoners are not willing to cooperate under any circumstances. As a result, they decide to execute them all and head with all strength to the cult's headquarters. They also took the little girl with them, since she knew the way and there wasn't any safe place on Orlane for her anyway.     With Cirilli's guidance and Korin's tracking skills, they manage to find it. Inside the cult's dungeon they fight and defeat many cultists and a harpy. Unfortunately, the evil monster killed the little girl during the fight.      Onc...

Session 15: Time For Reinforcements

  PCs: Causticas the elf, F2/MU2 Korin Clubfoot, dwarf, F3 SESSION REPORT:          It's Flocktime 1st, and since the party realised that they have to destroy skeletons to explore the rest of the Temple, they decide to recruit some cleric. Since there are no more clerics on Orlane, they decide to visit the nearby town of Hochoch.     They travel there and they sell the chainmail that they have obtained from the clerics. They also meet and recruit a cleric of Merikka named Adam. He provides some healing and is willing to help them cleanse the temple of his goddess.     They return with him back to Orlance where they interrogate their prisoners. Most of them are fanatic cultists and are not willing to share information, except for the goblins. They claim that they were forced into servitude by the troglodytes of the cult and are willing to cooperate if they will be allowed to live. Session 14: Against the Temple of Merikka

  PCs: Causticas the elf, F2/MU2 Korin Clubfoor, dwarf, F3 SESSION REPORT:     On Planting 28, after the successful raid of the Golden Grain Inn for the third time this week, the party visits the hermit and he proposes to strike fast against the Temple of Merikka, before they regroup and put cultists in the Inn again. They decide to wait a few hours and when the sun will set, they will all move against the clerics.     Indeed, they will approach the Temple and using the poisoned healing potions that the clerics gave them, they put out the guard dogs of the temple. After that they assaulted the temple and despite the fierce resistance of Ambramo, his monks and his goblins, they managed to prevail. In the upper floor they found some skeletons but they retreated and decided to deal with them later.     With that done, they retreated back at the mayor's house. Session 13: The Most Welcoming Inn

  PCs: Causticas the elf, F2/MU2 Korin Clubfoot, dwarf, F3 SESSION REPORT:     At the first daylight of Planting 26, the party, not wanting their enemies to regroup, decided to visit again the Inn. Before that however, they visited the hermit, assured that since the clerics are evil he is one of the good guys. He is happy to see that the party is against the cult and the clerics and gives them a healing potion to assist them. This time Korin was actually healed and they headed towards the Golden Grain Inn.     The inn was empty, besides the bodies of dead cultists that they left behind them last night. After they 've searched thoroughly and realised that noone else is there, they descended to the dungeon. There, Korin got bit by a poisonous snake. However one of the elves managed to put out the poison from him before it actually becomes dangerous. Session 12: Raiding the Inn

  PCs: Causticas the elf, F2/MU2 Korin Clubfoot, dwarf, F3 SESSION REPORT:     The party, having healed by the clerics of Merikka and also having recieved healing potions from them, they decide to attack the Golden Grain Inn when night will fall.     So, on Planting 25 they charge against the cultists of the inn with their hirelings and the two elves that assist them. After a tough fight they manage to overpower them. They also search the inn's rooms and capture their sleeping residents. Korin drunk the healing potion that the clerics gave them but soon enough he realised that it was poison and only his dwarven toughness helped him puke it out in time. They retreat back to the mayor's house to question their prisoners. Session 11: No More Mr. Nice Guy

PCs: Causticas the elf, F2/MU2 Korin Clubfoot, dwarf, F3 SESSION REPORT:     During the night, Korin and Causticas kept watch to make sure that noone comes to save their prisoners. They spotted movement and they surprised and overpowered their enemies. They were locals watching the mayor's house under the cover of the night.     When the sun rose, the party started interrogating them. The troglodytes and almost every cultist refused to give any information. However, one of the cultists asked the party to swear that they will let him leave alive if he cooperates. They do and he reveales that he arrived at Orlane looking for an adventure, however the first night he tried sleeping at the Golden Grain Inn, he was attacked in his room and was lead to a dungeon in a location unknows. There, him and some other prisoners were led in front of a serpent with the face of a woman. Most of them were charmed by it and were willing to follow its lead. Those who didn't were executed...

Session 10: Arriving in Orlane

PCs: Causticas the elf, F2/MU2 Korin Clubfoot, dwarf, F3 Dodecatheon, MU3 SESSION REPORT:     After the dangerous encounters of the group's previous attempt to reach Orlane, they employed 3 horsemen to accompany them in their journey. They began on Planting 14 and they reached Orlane on Planting 22. They passes through various cities on their way like Verbobonc and Veluna but didn't stay on them too long, because they wanted to start the investigation about Lorath's gang.     In this small village, their first impression was that it was full of suspicious and wary villagers. They met the mayor and he informed them that the village's population is declining. Many villagers just abandon their houses without having notify someone prior, leaving a message that they have to visit a distant cousin or something like that. Session 9: Dangerous Journeys

PCs: Causticas the elf, F2/MU2 Korin Clubfoot, dwarf, F2 Dodecatheon, MU2 SESSION REPORT:     The party has saved Hommlet from the evil cleric's gang and a possible resurrection of the cult that ran the Moathouse 10 years ago. However, they have sustained serious injuries and they were also ready to train and become stronger. So, they 've spent more than 1 month to recover and train to become stronger.     On Planting 1st, they were ready to go. They have discussed about what their next move could be. One option was to visit the Temple of Elemental Evil to make sure that there is not any more cultists' activity, in case that the cleric's gang was part of it. Another one came through the interrogation of some of the cleric's goons. They revealed that they had first met and joined forces with Lorath in a village known as Orlane. Also, the party have heard rumours about pirate activity close to the port of Dyvers.     They decide to follow the clues they 've g...

Session 8: The Final Showdown

PCs: Causticas the elf, F1/MU1 Korin Clubfoot, dwarf, F1 Dodecatheon, MU1 SESSION REPORT:     Burne, shocked by the reappearance of the cultists, talks to the village militia leader Jonathan and the respected druid Jaroo and asks them to unite their forces against the common foe. He was afraid that if the enemy learned of their intentions through his spies he would flee, so he asked them not to say a word, besides a few trustworthy adventurers (if there such adventurers) and take the matter in their own hands. They agree to attack the Moathouse and they take with them Causticas who proved his worth in the previous expedition, a dwarf named Korin Clubfoot and a magic-user known as Dodecatheon, both of them newcomers to the village. They will also be accompanied by 3 of Burne's soldiers.     At Coldeven 1st then, they head under as much secrecy as they can to the Moathouse. Inside they will fight a few zombies and eventually they will meet the evil cleric and his goons...

Session 7: Counterattack

PCs: Causticas the elf, F1/MU1 Jack, F1 SESSION REPORT:     The shadow of the elemental cults is back at Hommlet after 10 years. While everything seems normal and quiet, Burne, the local mage who runs the village alongside his comrade Rufus, investigates some of the loot that a party brought from the Moathouse and realises that it has the marks of the cultists who infested the area in the past. Not only that, but the group of adventurers that were investigating it, never returned from the last expedition. So he talks to the local militia leader Jonathan, the father of Elmo the ranger who was with that group in their fateful last journey and tasks him to find adventurers to be sent at the Moathouse.     Jonathan, worried about his son, employs Urikas' brother Causticas and also Jack, a newcomer fighter looking for gold and glory. They are accompanied by Burne's soldiers and head to the dungeon at Reading 28, three days after the disappearance of the previous party. ...

Session 6: A Feast For Ghouls

PCs: Urikas the elf, F1/MU1 Zyla the eld, C1 SESSION REPORT:     A week of rest passed for the party and at Reading 18 they were ready to go back to the Moathouse. The three hirelings that assisted them in the previous expedition wouldn't join them because Grengag offered them a high paid easy job and they should leave immediately to take it. They thank them for the cooperation and bid the party farwell. However, Grengag offers them 3 new hirelings to accompany them, this time for free. Samwich would stay behind to help some local farmers.     So, Urikas, Zyla, Spugnoir, Elmo, Furnok and the three hirelings arrive at the dungeon. After they explore a few rooms they are ambushed by bandits and the 3 hirelings that were there to help them, betrayed them and joined forces with the attackers. The party manages to defeat them and returns to the village to heal.     A week passes, the group searches for new hirelings and nobody came up. Hommlet is a small village...

Session 5: The party to the rescue

PCs: Urikas the elf, F1/MU1 Zyla the elf, C1 Samwich Baggins, halfling, T1 SESSION REPORT:     Since Zyla spent almost a week helping the church of St. Cuthbert, the party is awarded 4 healing potions by the head cleric. Also Zyla is informed that the former head priestess Y'Dey has gone missing and noone knows where she is.     After three days of rest, the party heads back to the Moathouse. They take with them all their previous henchmen plus 3 hirelings that the local trader, Grengag offered to them. In the Moathouse they venture at the lower level where they fight numerous monsters, like giant rats, bugbears and an ogre. However a fallen portcullis traps them in the dungeon. Thanks to the many members of the expedition however, they manage to find the secret door where the handle to lift the portcullis were.     Searching a little more, they managed to find and rescue two human prisoners. Session 4: The Short Session

PCs: Urikas the elf, F1/MU1 Samwich Baggins, halfling, T1 SESSION REPORT:     Once again, the party needed to spent one week resting before they will be able to adventure. Zyla decided to help the local temple of St. Cuthbert. Spugnoir who almost died but was saved by the PCs, reveals that he joined the party because he heard rumours that a warlock lives in the Moathouse and he was interested in magic items that he could have.     The local trader offers 4 hirelings to come along to the party's adventures at a good price. So, at Reading 6th the party heads back to the Moathouse. There however they met a strong resistance from a group of brigands. Session 3: Barbeque Gnolls

PCs: Urikas the elf, F1/MU1 Samwich Baggins, halfling, T1 Zyla the elf, C1 SESSION REPORT:     Since many members of the party almost died, the group needed again at least a week of rest. The leaders of the village, Rufus and Burne, agree to keep the groups evergrowing treasures safe at their keep for as long as they continue to raid the Moathouse. They are also approached by the local trader who offers to sell them his products at half price if they promise to pay the rest throught their loot.     At Fireseek 27th, the party visits the Moathouse once more. In the yard they kill 4 giant rats but besides them, they don't find any resistance in the ground floor. So they head to the stairs that lead to the lower level.      As they descend they trigger a glyph of warding. It doesn't cause much damage but it did a lot of noise. They are concerned that someone might heard it but still, they continue. After a while they reach a dead end but with a closer inv...

Session 2: The party grows

PCS: Urikas the elf, F1/MU1 Samwich Baggins, halfling, T1 Zyla the elf, C1 SESSION REPORT:     Since Samwich lost consiousness during the last expedition in the Moathouse, the party needed a week to rest at least, before they continue their adventures. At the small village of Hommlet, a new adventurer arrived, a female elven cleric named Zyla. She joined the party.     During the week that the party was resting, the leaders of the village, Rufus and Burne interrogated the bandits that the group brought back from the Moathouse. They summoned the party, awarded them 100 gp each for their services and told them that the bad guys were working for an evil wizard who lived in a dungeon under the Moathouse. They promised them more gold as a reward if they were willing to investigate it more.      Indeed, on Fireseek 19th, our party now aided by Zyla, returned to the Moathouse.
